SCO declares Chapter 11 bankruptcy after UNIX patent suits fall flat

Who’d have thought — apparently you *can’t* sue your way back to profitability instead of developing better products. SCO Group has learned this the hard way by filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy after losing to Novell in a lawsuit where SCO claimed Novell’s Linux “stole” SCO UNIX code.
